Purpose
Purpose
Turtlehead Permaculture is rooted in our relationship to the land. We live within suburban and ex-burban sites, recognizing their history while restoring habitat towards living in better ecological relationship with these places we call home. They are sanctuary, not just to people, but to the many other species we share the land with. As we go, we experiment, listen and learn towards building skills and helping others along their own journeys, weaving webs of resilience.

Permaculture offers one possible toolbox towards a different way forward.
We oppose fascism. We add our words and our work alongside other marginalized peoples.

We help develop "small islands," helping folks find their own skills, experiences, and voice.
